MIDE has come to the 10th year since its first showcase in year 2006. MIDE 2015 is expecting 250 booths and 15,000 visitors with the event hall size of 8,500 sqm.

There will be more than 2,000 trade representatives to be present at this premier dive event and the sales turnover estimated to be over 8 million during this 3 day event.

MIDE 2015 will include activities such as photo competition, colouring contests, diving seminars and attraction promotions on your next coming diving holidays.

MIDE 2015 will be running concurrently with Asia Dive Conference (ADCON) 2015, which is scheduled on 12 June 2015. ADCON is a conference catering to all the recreational divers and new divers, as well dive professionals who would like to widen the scope of recreational scuba diving and to further boost the divers’ professionalism.

MIDE (Malaysia International Dive Expo) was first kicked off in 2006 and it has been an annual event since then. The aim of MIDE is to promote Malaysia as the world-class diving destination for both local and international divers as well as travellers. MIDE records visitors are from 50 countries, and number of visitor increased from 2,000 to 12,000 since 2006.

MIDE has also put in efforts on educational programs for children through various ways, such as Marine Talks, Marine Presentations, Graffiti Art and Marine Painting to create the awareness of underwater world and marine conservation. This helps educate and encourage children to appreciate the beauty of Mother Nature.

MIDE has constantly emphasized on marine conservation and works closely with groups such as Project Aware Foundation, Sea Shepherd International, Shark Savers Organization, and Reef Check Malaysia, WWF, MALAYSIA Nature Society to spread the message of the importance of marine conservation.

Dive Asia @ MIDE 2015

Dive Asia Now! will be participating in MIDE 2015 promoting dive packages to SipadanLayang LayangRedangTioman and more Malaysia’s dive sites. Dive packages to over 40 Asian destinations will also be released and special offers will be given to Malaysians.

Dive Asia Now will also be sharing the group trips planned out for 2015 season so that divers can plan early and avoid the hiking of the airfares nearer to trip dates.
